DNC and Obama Ignore Scott Murphy

No wonder about Obama, we saw this with the Saxby race where the extent of his contribution were some robo- calls while the democrat floundered, why risk capital?

The Democrats? Well, the Democratic National Committee has decided to put $5,000 in the race, according to a party official.

While the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has spent more than $373,000 on the race through Monday, according to Federal Election Commission records, Obama waited until Wednesday morning to endorse Democrat Scott Murphy and still hasn’t cut a TV ad touting the candidate — despite the fact that the election is less than a week away.

Even Democratic National Committee Chairman Tim Kaine has kept his distance from the race by refusing to meet with Murphy when the candidate was at DNC headquarters recently, according to two Democratic insiders.

By the way 2 points is close, but there has never been one poll that showed Murphy winning. If dem internals show Murphy losing, he will.

WASHINGTON (CNN) For the first time since taking office, President Obama is spending some political capital to get another Democrat elected.

On Wednesday, Obama e-mailed New York Democrats endorsing Scott Murphy, the venture capitalist who is running in the special election to fill the seat in New York's 20th congressional district that was vacated by Kirsten Gillibrand when she was appointed to the U.S. Senate in January
