North Korea detains Two US Journalists: Saberi's Release From Iran also Delayed

The Axis of Evil taking US journalists hostage. To think they are not scared of President Obama.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The U.S. State Department confirmed Thursday that two U.S. journalists have been taken into custody, apparently by North Korean border guards, in the area of the Tuman River marking the border between North Korea and China.A State Department official tells CNN the United States is working with the Chinese government on the case and has expressed Washington's concern to North Korea through the Swedish Embassy in the North Korean capital, Pyongyang. Sweden represents the United States in North Korea since the United States does not have diplomatic relations with the North.

In other bad news Saberi is still being detained and now it looks like she will be spending a few extra weeks in an Iranian prison.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The father of imprisoned Iranian-American journalist Roxana Saberi says she is upset and frustrated that she is still being held in Iran, where she may be in prison for at least two more weeks while the government shuts down for the Iranian New Year."Roxana doesn't feel very well," Saberi's father, Reza, said Wednesday from his home in Fargo. "She's very upset, frustrated and disappointed."

Reza Saberi said he is worried the ordeal is taking a toll on his daughter's health. He said he plans to write a letter to Iran's supreme leader and work with members of the Japanese Embassy. Her mother is Japanese and the Japanese have good relations with Iran," Saberi said. "We'll see what they can do. All of this will take time."Iranian authorities say Roxana Saberi was arrested for working as a journalist after the government revoked her press credentials. Reza Saberi said his daughter was doing mostly feature stories and was not writing about any government business

Good Luck and Bless the Families. I wonder if that useful idiot Annette Benning has commented on the situation.
