Theater of The Absurd: Evo Morales on Hunger Strike For Another 5 Year Term

Evo Morales has helped destroy his country and now he is on hunger strike so he can become a dictator for life like his buddy Chavez. There is something very strange and dare I say unbalanced for the sitting president of a country to pull a stunt that is usualy reserved for prisoners or activists. Anyway this is the same Morales who:

• Has allowed and possibly encouraged mobs to attack his opponents.
• Pushed and eventually ratified a Constitution that gives the seal of approval to crack pot socialism.
  
• Booted out the American Ambassador over a make believe overthrow attempt.
• Brought Bolivia to the brink of Civil War.
• Driven out investment with crackpot socialism.

Apparently this wasn't his first hunger strike as he went on one in 2002 a stunt before he became President.

LA PAZ, Bolivia (CNN) -- Bolivian President Evo Morales vowed Friday to continue his hunger strike, initiated Thursday at the presidential palace, until the opposition-led Senate sets a date for general elections that are expected to give him another five-year term.

Morales called on opposition members -- who walked out of the Congress in mid-session late Thursday -- to pass the election law, the government-run Bolivian Information Agency said.

The opposition-controlled Senate has yet to pass a law setting a December date for the elections as called for within 60 days of the passage of a constitutional reform in January.
