Transition: The Most Dangerous Word a Liberal Can Use

In 2008 I was in the audience at Radio City Music Hall to see a debate between John Edwards and Rudy Giuliani and moderated by Tim Russert (sadly he passed away shortly after). It was an interesting mix of politics and gab as the three of them debated the issues and candidates, for the record Clinton. I distinctly remember John Edwards using the word transition to describe the lefts plans for health care. It was the code word they used as way to tell their base that single payer socialism is coming we just need to establish a means to carry it out. So when I see the word coming out of Obama's mouth I can assure you he meant the exact same thing:

“I happen to be a proponent of single-payer, universal health care plans.”

Or perhaps this at 50 seconds, from 2007 while Obama was running for President:

“But I don’t think we’re going to be able to eliminate employer coverage immediately. There’s going to be potentially some transition process. I can envision a decade out, or 15 years out, or 20 years out.”

What did Obama say here? He says that he wants to eliminate employer coverage over a transition period, and that he favors a single-payer system. If Obama has ever walked back either of those two statements made as a candidate for two national political offices, I’ve yet to hear it. Instead of explaining some sort of evolution in Obama’s thinking on these points, Douglass attempts to propagandize by claiming that people who saw these clips didn’t hear Obama say exactly what he did. It’s the equivalent of a Jedi mind trick, only it’s the weak-minded trying to conduct the trick.

They know what they are doing and the fact that they need to cloak their actions tells you had good they will be for average Americans. Look out for "transition" when they begin to discuss energy, defense, or anything for that matter, peel underneath that onion skin and you will find policies designed to enrich and empower the influence peddling machine known as the Democratic party.
