Pakistan Prime Minister: Bin Laden Not In Our Country

So where is he then, if not dead? More to the point its hardly re-assuring that a top Pakistani official would spout such a thing on the eve of Obama's decision to send in 30,000 more troops into Afghanistan:

LONDON (Reuters) - Pakistan Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani said on Thursday he did not think al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden was hiding in his country.

"I doubt the information which you are giving is correct because I don't think Osama bin Laden is in Pakistan," Gilani said when asked about efforts to track down the al Qaeda leader.

I can only speculate that for domestic political purposes he is saying these things.
