SEOUL, South Korea — North Korea on Saturday denied involvement in the mysterious sinking of a South Korean war ship in waters disputed between the two Koreas.The denial came a day after South Korea blamed the sinking on an “external explosion” — an announcement that further fueled speculation that the ship might have been hit by a North Korean torpedo or mine.
